the endangered ideas approach

We utilize a collaborative filmmaking model that gives communities agency in telling their own stories. By partnering with the people we document, we allow them to co-create and shape the film. Unlike traditional documentary methods, where filmmakers control the narrative, we create meaningful and impactful stories that challenge traditional power dynamics in filmmaking.

Over the past decade, we’ve produced impactful films that have screened in over 50 cities nationally and internationally, while collaborating with communities to preserve cultural traditions and amplify underrepresented voices.

Through cross-cultural exchange and media education programs, we have engaged more than 1,000 youth, empowering them to share their stories and advocate for change.
